Truck driver Mark Torres, 32, of Oxnard suffered moderate injuries and remained in stable condition Thursday.

No charges had been filed by Thursday and the crash remained under investigation.

In the second accident, Michael Koslosky, 38, died at an Oxnard hospital after suffering major head injuries when he crashed his motorcycle during a police chase.

Koslosky was involved in an accident about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of East Pleasant Valley Road. When a police officer arrived, Koslosky got back on his motorcycle and sped off.
