Real estate doesn’t count as culture

I guess all those tiresome “pre-show” cards in movie theaters presenting real estate agents as celebrities have paid off: Now we get to wade through their mind-numbing presentations in the Calendar section (“L.A. Gold Rush,” by Mimi Avins, May 25) to get to the alleged “Arts, Entertainment, Style, Culture” bestowed there.
