Re “Ashcroft Is Undeterred in Push for Capital Cases,” Sept. 29: What part of “thou shalt not kill” is Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft having trouble understanding? He might also want to bring up “thou shalt not bear false witness” at the next morning prayer session. Perhaps the Bush administration finds the Ten Commandments “fatally flawed”?
