Atlantic City Casino Workers Continue Strike

Thousands of bartenders, cocktail waitresses and other workers walked picket lines, on the second day of a strike against Atlantic City’s casino-hotels.
Union members want a three-year contract, casino-funded healthcare and protection against the use of nonunion restaurant workers.
Affected were Bally’s Atlantic City, Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Atlantic City, Showboat Hotel-Casino, the Atlantic City Hilton, Resorts Atlantic City and the Tropicana Casino and Resort.
