Suspect in Double Slaying Surrenders

A police officer suspected of killing two British travelers after an argument at a restaurant in western Thailand last month surrendered to authorities, police said.
Sgt. Somchai Visetsingha turned himself in to a regional police commander in Kanchanaburi province, near the Myanmar border, police Col. Vej Somboon said. The British couple, Vanessa Arscott, 24, and Adam Lloyd, 25, were killed Sept. 9.
