War and the draft

For the 19-year-olds quoted in “The Draft, the Internet and the Buzz” [by Dana Calvo, Oct. 12]: If you signed up for Selective Service, you always vote like the draft is coming. Our fathers and grandfathers didn’t know there would be a WWII, Korean or Vietnam War. Why do we think we are any different?
