Children Win Right to Use Pool at Condo

A condominium complex originally intended to be adults-only seems to have discriminated against children by keeping them from its main swimming pool, a U.S. District judge in Oakland ruled.
A lawsuit brought by three families against the homeowners association for the Keys, a 792-unit condominium complex, prompted an Oct. 19 preliminary injunction.
The injunction allows pool use by children but does not apply to other facilities, such as a racquetball court, at the complex.
