David Berman of ‘CSI’ buys in Hollywood Hills (Photos)

“CSI” actor David Berman has bought a home in the Hollywood Hills from screenwriter Colman Dekay for $1.381 million.
The 2,313-square-foot contemporary house has vaulted beamed ceilings, living room and master bedroom fireplaces, skylights, an office, three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Patios and a deck extend the living space outdoors. There are cityscape and mountain views.
Berman, 40, has played assistant coroner David Phillips on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” since the series began in 2000 and is a researcher on the show. He has also appeared on “Drop Dead Diva” and “Vanished.”

Dekay has written for the ‘90s series “Tales From the Crypt” and “Harry and the Hendersons.” In 2011 he cowrote the film “Nine Lives: A Musical Adaptation Live.”
He purchased the property in 2004 for $1.179 million.
