Jason D’Amore shot a school- and league-tournament record seven-under-par 65 at Griffith Park’s Wilson Golf Course on Thursday and finished with a school-record 10-under 134 to clinch the medalist honors for the Bay League tournament. D’Amore shot three-under 69 at Harding Golf Course on Tuesday to forge a three-way tie with John Lim of South Torrance and Brandin Cohen of Mira Costa at the halfway point of the tournament. Lim and Cohen shot 73 and 72, respectively, on Thursday to finish fourth and sixth and qualify along with D’Amore, runner-up Daniel Wax of Santa Monica (141), Chris McDowell of Santa Monica (141) and Jason Kang of South Torrance (143) for the Southern Section Northern Division tournament on May 17 at Village Country Club in Lompoc.

Medalist Michael Larkin shot a one-under-par 35 at Robinson Ranch Mountain Course to lead visiting Milken (10-1, 6-0). It is the second time this season that every Milken player shot under 40.

Jameson Lovell shot a three-under-par 68 for Simi Valley at Simi Hills Golf Course. Casey Piper and Rudolfo Estrada each shot 70 for Simi Valley. Austin Moss shot 73 for Calabasas.

Billy Olsen was the medalist, shooting a three-under-par 33, for Fountain Valley at Mile Square Park. Jeff Koprivetz (34), Phil Cunningham (35), Derek Sipe (36) and Yushi Owaki (37) led the way for Esperanza (17-5, 8-2). The Sunset League finals begin Wednesday at Long Beach Recreation Park.

No. 7 Riverside Poly won the Palmdale invitiational for the ninth consecutive year and Matt Ryan shot a tournament-best one-under-par 71 for No. 1 Hart at Crystalaire Country Club. Lancaster’s Tim Doepking shot the first hole-in-one in the tournament’s 28-year history on the par-3 sixth hole. Hart earned second-place honors by two strokes on a tie-breaker determined by adding each team’s five players’ scores on the back nine.

BAY/OCEAN LEAGUE

Individual Tournaments

D.J. Schultz of Chadwick shot a four-under-par 68 at Harding Golf Course at Griffith Park to lead the first day of Bay League play. John Lim of South Torrance, Jason D’Amore of Mira Costa and Chris McDowell of Santa Monica each shot 69, Jason Kang of South Torrance shot 70 and Daniel Wax of Santa Monica and Matt Lehman of Peninsula each shot 71 to remain in the hunt for the top five spot, which will qualify for Southern Section regional play.

Lucas Lee of Torrance shot two-under-par 70 at Harding Golf Course to lead the first day of Ocean League play. Darren Mack of Redondo was next at 72 with Hee Joo Son of Torrnac next at 73. The top five after the second round of play advance to Southern Section regional play.

Both tournaments conclude Thursday at Wilson Golf Course at Griffith Park.

Tommy Lee and Sam Kim of Gahr each shot three-under-par 67 at La Mirada Golf Course to lead after the first of three rounds of league tournament play. Garrett Sapp of Gahr is in third place at 69, with Kenny Kim of Gahr and Matt Okutsu of Downey tied for fourth at 70.
