Boston bombings: An article in the Jan. 12 Section A about families forever altered by the Boston Marathon bombings said brothers Paul and J.P. Norden each lost a portion of their left legs. It was their right legs that were affected.
Library hours: A brief article in the Jan. 12 California section about nine Los Angeles public libraries opening on Sundays said all 64 branch libraries are open Mondays through Saturdays. The Robertson branch is closed on Saturdays and open the six other days of the week.
Movie previews: A listing in the Jan. 12 Sunday Calendar Movie Sneaks section for the film “G.B.F.” had the names of the writer and director reversed. The writer of the teen comedy opening this weekend is George Northy, and the director is Darren Stein.
Weekend box office: The Jan. 13 Calendar box-office chart reported incorrect week-over-week percentage changes for two films. The percentage change for “Lone Survivor” and “August: Osage County” should have said “NA,” for “not applicable,” as it was the first weekend both films expanded from limited to wide release.
