Homicide Report: An article in the Jan. 19 Section A about the neighborhood with Los Angeles County’s highest homicide rate gave an incorrect age for Jacky Pineda, whose fiance was killed in December. She is 27, not 22.
Northridge earthquake: An article in the Jan. 17 Section A reflecting on the Northridge earthquake 20 years earlier said neighbors had identified a Sherman Oaks couple killed in the collapse of their home as Mark Yupp and his fiancee, Kerry. Their names were Marc Yobs and Karen Osterholt.
Royal New Zealand Ballet: An article in the Jan. 19 Arts & Books section about the Royal New Zealand Ballet said the troupe was performing “Giselle” only in Los Angeles. It is also being performed in Santa Barbara.
