L.A. Now Live: Discuss groundbreaking of $2-billion Crenshaw line
- Share via
Join Times staff writer Laura J. Nelson for a discussion at 9 a.m. Wednesday about this week’s groundbreaking for the $2.06-billion Crenshaw Line that will run north-south and connect the Expo Line with the Green Line.
Nelson is The Times’ transportation reporter and was at Tuesday’s groundbreaking event that was hailed and attended by the likes of L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti and U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx.
About a dozen construction workers and local residents protested outside the event, saying they believe a segment of the line would marginalize their community.
Nelson will discuss the impending light-rail line during the chat, including the money that will go into paying for it, where the line will go and how many riders are expected, among other topics.
During the chat, readers can submit all of their questions and comments and we’ll get to as many of them as we can.
See you Wednesday at 9 a.m. for L.A. Now Live!
