Police search for three suspects in South L.A., including one who allegedly shot at officers

Police set up a perimeter early Saturday in South Los Angeles and were searching for three suspects, including one who allegedly fired toward officers.
LAPD officers spotted a vehicle driving erratically about 7:40 a.m. at 109th Street and Compton Avenue, said Officer Rosario Herrera. The four suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

One of the suspects was arrested.
During the foot pursuit of the others, one of the suspects fired toward officers, Herrera said.
“No officers were hurt,” Herrera said.
Due to police activity, bus Line 55 was detoured via Central Avenue, between 103rd Street and Imperial Highway until 3 p.m., according to an L.A. Metro tweet.
