A woman leapt off a high-rise tower in Beverly Hills on Wednesday morning and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, police said. The incident closed streets for hours.
Beverly Hills police received a call about a woman on the roof of the building at 414 N. Camden Drive at about 7 a.m., said Sgt. Dave Hamel. Crisis negotiators from the police department attempted to talk the woman down for several hours, he added.
No information on the woman’s condition or identity was immediately available, police said.
North Camden Drive remained closed between Santa Monica and Wilshire boulevards as police assessed the scene, Hamel said.
