Bret Saberhagen, a two-time Cy Young Award winner who threw a no-hitter in the City Section championship game for Reseda Cleveland in 1982 at Dodger Stadium, will have his uniform retired during a ceremony on Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at Cleveland.
The ceremony will happen prior to Cleveland’s alumni baseball game. Saberhagen was a 19th-round draft pick of the Kansas City Royals and went on to become one of baseball’s top pitchers.
