Baseball: Harvard-Westlake hosts Mater Dei on Saturday in doubleheader

If you can’t wait until the official start of the baseball season on March 1, there’s a terrific winter league doubleheader set for Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at Harvard-Westlake’s O’Malley Field in Encino, with Santa Ana Mater Dei taking on the Wolverines.

Jack Flaherty, last season’s Division 1 player of the year from Harvard-Westlake, is scheduled to pitch the first three innings in the first game on Saturday.
