Oaks Christian defeats Hart, 74-72

In a one-day tournament at Pasadena La Salle on Monday, Oaks Christian’s Austen Moye came through with the shot of the day against 16-1 Newhall Hart.
With the scored tied, 72-72, and 4.7 seconds left, the Lions inbounded the ball in the backcourt, and Moye ended up with the ball just inside the free-throw line. He got the shot up as the buzzer sounded and it went through the net for a 74-72 victory.
Oaks Christan improved to 14-4. Moye finished with 21 points. Myles Franklin had 28 points and Lewis Stallworth had 23 for Hart, which rallied from an 11-point third-quarter deficit.
