Boys’ basketball: Brian Beauchemin still making impact at 69

More than 50 years ago, Brian Beauchemin graduated from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. Who knew he’d be coaching basketball at age 69?
In March, he will be inducted into the Junior College Hall of Game.
He has been the head coach at Glendale College since 1978 and is nearing 600 career victories.
He still comes to the Notre Dame High Hall of Fame dinner each year to show his support for his alma mater.
There are dozens of players he has helped reach the college level and more importantly, helped prepare them to become adults.
