Boys’ basketball: Lorne Currie is given clearance to play for Fairfax

The City Section has given clearance for junior guard Lorne Currie to play for Fairfax High beginning with Friday night’s Western League game against Westchester.
Currie played last season for Fairfax, then transferred to St. John Bosco. He never played for the Braves.
He’ll be eligible to face his good friend, Gardena Serra guard Jason Richardson, on Saturday night.
