Boys’ basketball: Lorne Currie is returning to Fairfax
- Share via
Just in time for the start of Western League play, Fairfax High is about to get a boost with the return of 6-foot-2 junior guard Lorne Currie to the program. He’s scheduled to enroll on Monday.
Currie was supposed to be a key player for the Lions until he became academically ineligible last season, then transferred to St. John Bosco.
He intends to return to Fairfax after attending St. John Bosco this past semester and will be eligible immediately. He scored 29 points in a game against Harvard-Westlake as a sophomore at Fairfax.
