Update: The Knicks have endured a season much like the Lakers, though their home record is dubious at best (8-15) and they’re currently not among the top eight Eastern Conference teams. Carmelo Anthony was scoring at will even before his 62-point outburst Friday in a 125-96 victory over Charlotte. Anthony is now averaging 27 points a game this season, two over his career mark.
