Bode Miller looking sharp in Olympic warmup

It was a long time ago -- back in 2003 -- that U.S. ski star Bode Miller won three medals at the world championships in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
On Thursday, Miller showed that he still knows the slopes, recording the second fastest time in training runs for an upcoming World Cup race there.
Miller’s time of 1:37.75 was barely eclipsed by Max Franz of Austria, who skied the course 0.03 of second faster.
“It was so long ago,” the 36-year-old Miller told the Associated Press, referring to his world championship wins. “I used to remember everything, maybe I am getting too old.”
After this weekend, the World Cup circuit takes a break for the 2014 Sochi Games.
St. Mortiz is not an exciting downhill, Miller was quoted as saying, “but in terms of gliding, it’s good practice and warmup for the Olympics too.”
