USC tailback Javorius Allen said Tuesday that he would return for his junior season with the Trojans.
Allen, who was voted the team’s most valuable player after his redshirt sophomore season, was eligible to make himself available for the NFL draft.
“I never was leaving,” he said, adding, “I get my degree in a year …. It’s just something I thought about and looked into for next year.”
Allen rushed for 785 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. He also caught 22 passes, one for a touchdown.
USC linebacker Hayes Pullard announced Monday that he would return for his final season of eligibility.
Receiver Marqise Lee, offensive lineman Marcus Martin, tight end Xavier Grimble, safety Dion Bailey and defensive lineman George Uko have made themselves available for the draft.
The deadline to declare for the draft is Wednesday.
